I was bored. CJ said, write me a drabble. Not quite a drabble. A few words over. Lame subject, but hey, I have a one-track mind these days.

"That's what they said. You wanna come or not?"

"Sonograms are creepy. Plus, I'd feel weird."

"You would feel weird?! At least you would be showing up as the dad..."

"But nobody's gonna know why you're there. You're not even showing yet. Why can't Frazier do this thing, anyway?"

"You know what, if you don't want to come, don't come."

"No! I do want to come. But sonograms are creepy. Plus, how are they gonna insert the wand for the transvaginal views, anyway?"

"The what?"

"See you later? About 1400?"

"The wand?"

Daniel heard Jack snickering as he walked away. Fucking indignities of pregnancy. Damned if he was doing this again. Jack could have the next one.

Michael Shanks is one day older than I am. One morning early in my pregnancy I was looking in the mirror and for some reason it occurred to me that Daniel would be of advanced maternal age. Just like me. *snickers*

You are going to hate me. I know. But I am going to write a huge M-PREG epic for green_grrl. It's about half complete and it is the very next thing I'm going to do after I finish my ficathon this weekend and my Christmas story that I didn't post last year. Expect delivery by the end of the year! :D

Oh I think I could stand it I'm sure. I love everything else you write so I'm sure I'll love it. But it still won't get to enjoy MPREG. I'll tolerate it but I doubt I'll ever truly ENJOY it. Hee.
