I made my first post to the list about this one.

I couldn't figure out what I wasn't getting. So I said, "To paraphrase Edwina Monsoon, is there some kinky significance I'm missing here?"

As it happens, apparently certain gossip groups - chat, list whatever, thought that the boys were sending each other slashy messages by means of what they were wearing to public events.

However, certain other factions in these groups thought that the boys, for their own amusment, were starting the rumors, then wearing cloths to match! *snortle*

Also, Miss Pinkie is the person widely believed to be the boys in disguise.

So anyway, that's the missing piece to what this story is supposed to mean.

The idea's kinda unusual - total crack!fic, but still.

VM/OB and some other side pairings.

I want her to do one while VM/SB are still partners. And I'd be interested in one about what SB is up to on his own.

Also, on this same page, you will find another story - Boundaries. If you're into kink at all, a fun read. OB tops VM.

The author describes it as a "smut monster" and later as "The Smut That Took Over the World." It is a serious time waster. But if you are into hobbit RPS, it's very tasty.

Billy's Best, archived at Characters in Bloom

Billy Boyd/Orlando Bloom. A lovely, funny, tender, sexy, first time story about two straight boys falling in love. Particularly liked Billy's Best Kiss, which I believe is Chapter 2.

This story is the reason I'm still getting the lists, despite the fact that I NEVER have time to read them anymore. I have to know the moment she updates!

I would like to take a moment to recommend the Mummy slash of my girlcrush, uisgich, examples posted here in her newly revamped fiction journal, torranach. She has some really lovely LOTR FPS, including Boromir's Bed and Aragorn's Bed.

Boromir's Bed has sentimental value for me, as you will note in the comments that I commented to her, and this is where we first met... :)

Everybody go read her stuff! We must drag her out of the RPG twilight and back out into the world of independent porn writing again, for the good of all!

All you people who adore Eagle's Nest and might be interested in a similar, but very different story, toodle on over to visit pecos.

She has written a novel-length story, complete (yay! not WIP!), called Prophecy, Destiny and Design. She is also posting a sequel, Beyond Design Limitations, in her journal, currently WIP.

Prophecy is an awesome thing, with two important pairings in the middle of it: SB/OB/VM (morphing through the story in the most interesting ways) and a pretty straightforward EW/DM with that woman from the Bourne Identity thrown in for good measure.

You get - apocalypse cults, psychics, scientific conspiracies, time travel, castrophic pandemics, spies, assassins, paramilitaries, Sean with a long gun, PJ the great, and oh, so much more. Including a wonderfully, deliberately oblivious Billy.

And when you finish that, flip a page back to her fictional person slash and read Beyond the Far Horizon. Actually, I shouldn't recomment BTH to you, because I LOVE ADORE WORSHIP her Legolas, and he has seeped into my whole understanding of who Legolas might be and if I ever write the Sharpe/Aragorn thing you will all point your fingers at me and shout "Plagarizer!!!!" However, still gotta rec the story for her Legolas alone, not to mention Aragorn roaming the post WWII American southwest, as a sort of modern-day cowboy.

pecos is awesome!

daisy_gamgee has a Merry/Pippen saga (very WIP), which I believe is all archived in a journal, history_of_us. On the info page for that journal, there is also a link to a website where the story is better organized.

Most of what she has written is M/P, pre-quest, starting with Pippin's birth and moving forward. She also writes some truly excellent, though incidental to the main story, Frodo/Sam. But she has written a few pieces during the quest, and I believe quite a bit of post-quest now, that I haven't caught up on.

Very, very good, if you like pre-quest Shire. Though if you know you like pre-quest Shire, I'm sure you've read it already. :p Her Merry and Pippin are wonderful, and the way she realistically deals with their age difference is very good. Very plotty. And once she gets them past Pippin's "old-enough" birthday, some hot porn, too. ;P
