There is, however, a book series by that name (http://www.benjamins.com/cgi-bin/t_seriesview.cgi?series=LA). Which, although each volume contains ONE very long essay instead of several articles, IS an edited work that is published regularly and up to at least Volume 91 in publication. Not exactly a journal, but is still an academic publication to which Daniel would subscribe.
The general linguistics profesional journal is (uninterestingly) titled, Journal of Linguistics (http://www.cambridge.org/journals/journal_catalogue.asp?mnemonic=lin). There are also various journals for specific language groups or regions, like the Canadian Journal of Linguistics and Nordic Journal of Linguistics, and for subfields like Sociolinguistics and generative linguistics. Can't recall the titles of those, but I don't suspect that Dr. Jackson subscribes to all of those, in any case.
