I wrote this in about 25 minutes. It shows, I think. But at least now I have spell-checked it…
Bra'tac was pleased to be back at the SGC. There was something comforting about the bright dimness and dinginess of the warren of tunnels and chambers.
It was good to see Teal'c happy, too. And Teal'c was always happy here these days.
Teal'c had not been expecting him, and Bra'tac slipped unnoticed into the large room. A training facility of some kind, though Bra'tac could not imagine what form of martial art SG-1 was practicing now.
They were all stripped down to "tanks" as O'Neill used to refer to them, breathing hard and glistening with the prespiration of good, hard training. He smiled and felt the same awe he always felt in the presence of the female warrior Carter, who never failed to surprise the traditional Jaffa in him. His master's eye took in her superior physical condition - sleek muscles, trim waist and beautifully controlled movement in perfect harmony with the more rounded curves of her feminine form. Were he even 50 years younger...
Teal'c looked as fit as ever. He handled the orange ball with apparent skill. He and Cater were partnered, it seemed, facing Daniel and his partner, Mitchell, with cool confidence.
DanielJackson only improved every time Bra'tac saw him. He had grown as a warrior under the tutelage of the other members of SG-1. Bra'tac felt a certain personal pride in the development of his fighting skills, the definition in his upper body, the strength of his arms. The young man was more than a match for many of Bra'tac's Jaffa these days, though if the master told him that, DanielJackson would certainly laugh with embarrassment and not believe him.
He looked good with this Mitchell. Mitchell had nothing to prove to Bra'tac. He knew how highly O'Neill, Carter, and Teal'c regarded him. Bra'tac thought it was odd, how he could easily pass for DanielJackson's brother, a match for him in height, complexion, and an almost visible moral strength and honesty.
Alas, the two human men were no match for the woman and the Jaffa. They seemed to have lost the battle. Jibes were exchanged, DanielJackson was blamed for the loss (though only in jest, Bra'tac was certain), and Mitchell found himself immobilized in Teal'c's most unbreakable neck lock. He was not intimidated and merely complained loudly about the sweat and the smell.
Then, in an unseemly scene completely unworthy of such dangerous veterans, DanielJackson and Major Carter proceeded to tickle their captive commander ruthlessly, as he struggled and howled in Teal'c's unrelenting grasp. He finally threatened to urinate on Teal'c, who released him so abruptly that he collapsed in a heap on the training room floor.
Bra'tac shook his head. He would never understand the customs of the Tauri warriors. But he was glad he was too old to be tickled.
[Editors note: Bwahahahahahaha! Tickling and peeing! *snickers*]
