Suupposed to be cleaning Small Boy's room in preparation for his arrival home this afternoon.

But am very annoyed.

I have never been kissed breathless. Cause dude. Any kiss that covers my nose isn't gonna last very long, you know? NOT a turn on. So why is it that characters have to actually quit kissing to breathe? I mean, you might figuratively "come up for air." But not literally. *peers at writers* Have I missed something in my romantic life? Or are you all just crazed?

No, you're right. It's writers being weird. Or let's be nice and say "overly enthusiastic." [wry smile] I've wondered about that too, 'cause I don't know about anyone else but my nose works just great while I'm kissing, thanks ever so. :D

It probably came from the same source that has people writing about someone licking or kissing up the "seam" in a guy's cock. o_O I mean, while I'll admit my experience of the male anatomy isn't extensive enough to comprise a statistically valid sampling, still, I'm fairly sure that the only way a guy could acquire a "seam" in his cock is if he's had some fairly disturbing surgery, ya know? [eyeroll] But you see it all over. It's probably the same mutation that gives a guy "sacs," as in plural. [snicker]

My personal theory is that there are too many women writing smut who have insufficient experience of the real thing. :P
