I admit it

That is so cool!

I admit that I treasure every new person who friends this journal.

Considering the recent Stargate insanity, I was so pleased that the most recent addition must have come over from [livejournal.com profile] fellow_shippers. It's been a while since I posted. Which is what makes it even more cool.

I need to make a note to myself to do surveys after the next installments of Arena and Throw Away. Am intrigued to know who's reading what...

Dude, I read everything you write -- even the Stargate, which is a show I've never seen!

(So does this mean there's new Arena and Throw Away in the pipeline? *squees hopefully*)

p.s. I just recced TA to someone hot for Lij topping Bean.

Maximizing resources...

You are so great! And thanks for the rec! And yes, there will be Arena and Throw Away. They are not dead. It's like this. If I had all the time in the world to write, I'd discipline myself to write and things would come out more evenly, I think. Cause the story is in my head, I just need to get it out. But because I don't have enough time to write, I tend to write whatever is coming easiest. That's why we got 6 or 8 or whatever chapters it was of Throw Away. It was coming easily. And that's why, much to my extreme irritation, we're getting Possession. :)

Hmmm, even with all the time in the world, it might still come out that way. I have heard there are writers who do the disciplined thing and sit down for X hours each day, cranking along on whatever project. How can this be? These creatures, they are alien to me. My theory of writing is, go with whatever the muses are pushing. Yes, sometimes you can reinsert yourself into something that had dropped; but if there is something that's flowing, hell, write it! (And this, of course, wars with my deep anguish over beloved, unfinished WIPs. ;-)

I could be one of those people, but I have, max 1 good hour per day. Maybe 1.5 if I'm really lucky. If there's something coming easy, I've gotta get that down as fast as possible. No time to sit around pushing and tugging a more reluctant piece.

Six hours a day, and we've got a totally different story... Heh. Different story...

*holds up both hands* Me! I read anything you write, admittedly some more eagerly than others, but everything.

And that is so cool, too! I'm still not over that, either. :) And looking at your name makes me think I really need to invest more time in that Sharpe/Aragorn thing...
