Questions for coffee drinkers

1. What is your desert island coffee?

2. What is the coffee you wish you could afford to drink everyday, possibly constantly, perhaps marry and have its babies?

3. What coffee would you actually buy a pound of beans and give someone on a special occassion?

It's OK if they are all the same coffee, but special bonus points if any of the three is particulalry expensive and/or hard to get.

Now. Same three questions for chocolate.

I'm not a coffee person at all. My sister is, and I buy her a pound of Capulin coffee, French Roast, every Christmas, but that won't mean anything to anyone else. Capulin is wild crafted and sun dried by locals living in the jungles of Nayarit, Mexico, not too far from the border. A local guy here goes down and pays them a fair wage, brings it to Phoenix for roasting, and sells it locally. The usual "best coffees" are Jamaican Blue Mountain, and the poop one.

I do love chocolate, but I can't really name a lot of brands. For a good dark chocolate, I'll get Scharffenberger or an organic bar from the co-op--Green&Black or Endagered Species. I love the melty creaminess of Belgian chocolates, too--I just pick up whatever's at Trader Joe's. My favorite truffles are Joseph Schmidt. They're made in San Francisco and I know they're distributed as far as here, but I don't know where else they get shipped.
