My Little Pony

brainofckThis weekend, at the birthday party of a five-year-old girl, I saw, for the first time ever, some My Little Pony cartoons.
My Little Colonel has taken on a whole new level of humor for me now. I do not believe I have ever seen such a pointless display of pure marketing without any redeeming value.
Amazing.

Got 1000 words on Saturday. A paltry 600 or so yesterday (weekend goals are 1000, but plot is boring and hard). I only needed 500 for today, but fell short, partly because I am rewriting part of the first section and what I wrote caused me to delete about 150 words, and I didn't make that up (yet). Hoping to get a few calm minutes at the computer this evening to achieve the daily goal.
I'm over 11,000, so I don't think there will be any deadline issues, but I'd mostly like to keep hitting those daily targets so that I can move on to other projects. Though I freely admit to considering TWO submissions, if I can finish this one fast enough. Maybe I could still pounce on the wing!fic if I can keep the momentum up.
