So, I let myself be distracted by the shiny of that MP3 player meme, where you write ten tiny ficlets based on the first ten songs that come up when you hit random on your player.

Setting aside the fact that I have Toddlers Sing and Peter Paul and Mommy on my MP3 player at the moment, I have a quite melancholy selection on there. Though it did have an uplift at the end.

And in the process, I found out a bunch about a song that I have loved for years without ever getting a clear handle on the lyrics. Now, I know the lyrics and their source and that's sort of exciting, but I'm not excactly sure I'm happy about it.

I also suffer from having about 6 albums of yoga music on my MP3 player.

For the meme, I kept only ONE of the yoga pieces, but I decided to leave in all the kiddie music that came up, though I am doing eleven songs, not ten, to cancel out the fact that "I'm a Little Teapot" came up.

This is a remarkably hard meme to do as instructed, becuase how can you get an idea and write a whole thing in the time it takes for teh song to play? Especially when the song is only about a minute long. I will be cheating.

I haz a plan for I'm a Little Teapot. Heh. Another way that I'm cheating is that I found out my songs but didn't write them all right away. So I've been thinking about them a little bit, you know, while driving to the store and stuff. Plus, I wrote something for [song name redacted] that actually is better for I'm a Little Teapot. AG33 pointed out that [song name redacted] worked really well as a monster one. I agreed.
