On Friday, Boss's calendar has an item: "Metro from AU."

After a double take, I realized AU is NOT alternate universe, but, in fact American University.

Hee! Sounds to me like an AU where Jack is Head of Public Transportation in some big city and Daniel is, say, an engineer unconnected with the department who comes forward as a concerned citizen, insisting that the subway tunnels for the new expansion project are unsafe. All the other engineers will disagree with Daniel, who will refuse to stay quiet. :D
