So. I have stubs on FanHistory.Net for Brain and my RL journal. Stubs link to LJ. I think I will try to do away with the RL link there. There isn't that much really interesting going on there fan wise that's open to all comers. Most of it is locked behind a group Slash OK.
The question is, do I deal with Brain? I could leave it as it is, and just monitor it. I could flesh it out (and monitor it). Or I could delete it. Or I could not care about it.
The thing is, BOTH of them come up in google searches on the actual screen names. I don't know why anyone would *bother* doing a google search if they already *have* the user names, since it seems the logical thing to do would be just to *go* to the journals, but there it is. The FanHistory stubs are connecting to my online self.
Thoughts?

Date: 2009-09-19 06:38 pm (UTC)Two major problems: One, a wiki should be contributed to by all who have input, but she is exceedingly swift to ban anyone she doesn't like from editing--even her recruited editors when she's in the mood. Two, she outed a fan's real life identity, and repeated put it back on the site whenever it was edited out. It has been suggested (and sounds very likely) that she engineered/welcomed the resulting wank because it brought more hits to her site.
I refuse to go to it or link to it.
