My brain's ego.

All of it's important contents in one place.

About My Brain

This journal contains slash fiction, rated from G through NC-17. Mostly LOTR RPS, but also some LOTR and crossover FPS. UPDATE: Also, now includes Stargate. Dammit. UPDATE: At which point I feel the need to remind myself that AT LEAST there is not yet any FOOTIE!slash (a la [livejournal.com profile] footballslash. Look. I am holding at least one line...) UPDATE: Dammitdammitdammit. I review my description of my journal and find that I am clearly a Stargate writer now, not LOTR RPS. This makes me sad and somewhat resentful, but that's the truth. And Jack and Daniel are SO pretty together. *sigh*

Please do not hesitate to friend this journal! :) I'll friend you back as soon as I check in, which I do every couple of days. And feedback is very welcome.

Content Warnings and Age Restrictions
Regarding the explicit sexual content of many of these stories, personally, I don't believe in censoring the written word. If you can read and understand and be interested, then I don't mind if you read here.

However, I am also a parent. I know how parents are. If you think your parents would tell you not to read this material, please respect your parents' rules and wishes. There's nothing in this journal good enough to make your parents mad about. Hopefully it'll all still be here when you turn eighteen when your parents stop paying your bills. :p

What People are Saying about [livejournal.com profile] brainofck

"I don't like Spagheti-O's, yet you've made them sexy. Amazing, totally amazing." - [livejournal.com profile] amise

"I was like, out loud, mind you, "What are you DOING?" " - [livejournal.com profile] wyldestarr

"Dude, you posted a link that said Stargate Fic and I clicked, and I had never even seen the show! (And thank you, BTW, for that little OBSESSION! *grin* )" - [livejournal.com profile] green_grrl.

"You read this stuff? And write it?! I can't believe people like this! It's so crude!" - [Name Withheld] - flamer, to remain unidentified

Story Index:
Arena - AU - that gladiator thing. PG to NC-17. Violence. Non-Con/Rape. Minor character death. Primarily SB/VM, with other pairings in later chapters. Currently over 20 parts complete. WIP

At Sea - The Dark Muse sets her sights on Elijah, Dom, and Billy. EW/BB/DM. NC-17. Non-Con. Violence (though not in the sex). Just getting rolling on this. Sorry. The link's still dead! :p

Encounters with the Dark Muse - Where is Sean? And what is Viggo doing here? SB/VM. NC-17. Non-Con. Violence (though not in the sex). This is a WIP, but resting in a good spot.

Double Lotus - That yoga thing. PG to NC-17. Currently not WIP, though could be resurrected... Sorta complete.

The Sharpe/Aragorn Project - PG-13 to NC-17. My absolutely favorite crossover ever, ever, ever. (Though Viggo/Trevalyan or however you spell it is really hot, too.) There are interesting pieces of this. Not sure where it's going exactly. And those of you reading Arena will see distinct parallels. There's a lovely honey and yogurt thing that's not finished. Definitely hope to turn this into something more readable some day. Just not this day.

Throw Away - SB/EW, SB/VM (thus far)PG-13 to NC-17. This started out as a "throw away" piece - a fairly standard, two guys fall into bed together PWP set during filming. It takes place after a party for pity's sake. However, it's a blast to write and people seem to like it, so it is now a WIP, tentatively set up to play with the cliches.

Birthday Stories - NC-17. Inspired by the birthdays and personalities of dear friends. Victims chosen randomly by my brain. :)

Miscellaneous LOTR RPS Short Pieces - Various pairings. Various ratings.

Stargate - Yes. There is Stargate slash. I am more than a little irritated about this. Like I need more perversion in my life. I fully intend to blame [livejournal.com profile] uisgich til my dying day. Though it must be said, I watched about four seasons in one week on DVD. In the end, I couldn't resist DanielJackson.

Well, I've read all I could and loved it (especially encounters with the dark muse which I thought was over and am now really happy to find that it is a WIP) but now I'd love to read the stuff I can't get to... so, could you friend me please? I did friend you but know nothing of this LJ thing so I need some help.
And I hope you continue to write great stuff!

I have friended you! :) And right now there is only one item that only friends can reach, which is my ONE Mary-Sue, het content, OMG I can't belive I wrote that. You/Her/SB/VM. Yikes! :) Anything else you can't see at the moment, nobody can see! :)

At one time, I was opening Arena up in an unfinished form to people who asked. That was because I finished about 4 chapters of Arena, skipped forward about 5 years, wrote about 8 chapters out of order, then went back and filled in the middle. There was so little hope of any of it opening any time soon that I let people who didn't mind spoilers into the "early readers" group. Currently, there's nothing like that going on in the subconcious. Heh.

You should be able to find all the stories from the info page. If you poke around the journal recent entries, you will also find teaser posts and a few other random things. Trying to read stories that way may be quite frustrating, as they are not in order...

:)
