I realized I had given myself extended deadlines for both my stories. I had the remix due on June 6 and the ficathon due on June 11.

Which is totally wrong.

But the baby cooperated this morning by sleeping in and I got up early and there is just an outside chance that I will make the remix deadline of TOMORROW!!!!!

More likely, I will post one day late, on Monday morning.

I might boot it to you tomorrow night for a quick, light edit and thoughts, if you have time. It looks like it will be around 18-22 pages... No prob if you can't do the quick turn around, though. I might have to post it raw and repost it with edits or something later in the week. Jeez. I cannot believe it did this to myself. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Hey, I don't even have the excuse of misremembering the date -- I just haven't worked on the epic clichefic of doom in forever, and I knew the J/D date was coming. Now I am struggling to get the basic story finished, and let's not even talk about how much rewriting has to happen. (I started on this a year and a half ago. Oy, the writing!) Plus sending an epic to beta? *scurries back to the salt mines*
