I was looking for a particular stranded story, but found this instead.

The Drake Equation. Four longish parts.

I am amused at how different writers handle survival situations. I think this writer takes a very realistic approach. Except somehow, their clothes fall to rags very quickly. I have clothes less rugged than BDUs that I have worn several times a week for ten years or more. I realize I'm not hunting and fishing them, but still...

Oh, yeah... Isn't that the one where Jack cuts himself and Daniel has to treat it but his hand never heals quite right? I remember that one being realistic in a lot of ways about the disadvantages of strandedness.
