How upsetting
Apr. 7th, 2005 03:29 pmOK. That is absolutely the last time I post something without re-reading it. The leather drabble was just a spur-of-of the moment surprise for a friend that I was *trying* to finish in 15 minutes or less.
But just reread the yogurt thing and there were so many hilarious problems with it. OMG. Please tell me, people! Hopefully fixed most of them.
Also, can't see any reason not to put this out as a stand alone. It's complete, it's edited, and it's essentially a PWP, so even if it ends up being in the middle of a timeline, it's not like it's going to spoil any plot or anything.
Share the porn, that's what I say.

Date: 2005-04-07 08:14 pm (UTC)I *still* think 'permanent alignment' is pretty damned funny. Kinky. ^_^
Re: Well, good!
Date: 2005-04-08 12:09 pm (UTC)I'm my own beta. Ergo, if I do not re-read the story, it had no beta. Bad CK!
The typos don't bother me so much. I wrote, "He storked them both," which is another goddammit moment, but people read past it with a giggle.
What I hate is when I do the permanent alignment thing. Cause that's just weird. And then people are like, "What is that supposed to mean? Have I missed some kinky significance here?!" It's one thing to be a bad typist. It's another thing to be a laughably bad writer. *sigh*

Date: 2005-04-07 11:24 pm (UTC)*dies laughing* Sorry I missed that then, quite a sight that must have been. Seriously though, I would have told you had I noticed it. I'm usually quite sharp about things like that. I'm not to blame here though as you turned me in to a puddle of goo with your writing. ;)
