The Diaries, another year

Much fun was had by all, though her Brit accent is showing through much more than I remember it doing in the first round. I wonder if somebody beta'd it for her before. I have no problem with a British accent. But it is just *wrong* for Jack, and not fab for Daniel.

I was supposed to be writing elf!Jack. *hangs head* Won't get a shot at it in the morning, either, as Little Sister has a doctor's appointment at 7:30am. Oh, well. Elf!Jack will be posted prior to Christmas, but December 16 was my goal for another installment of Serial Rediscovery, and I also hoped to tackle green_grrl's MPREG epic. Plus, I have a snow thing that I have been thinking about for the better part of a year that I thought would be nice to write for midwinter.

Do you suppose there's a glue leak around here somewhere? Clearly I have been sniffing something.

Now, off to draft some wills! With exciting testamentary trusts included! Yay. It's not even Daniel's will. Dang backlogged low priority projects.

Hmmm, I hope your will is also being written, anyway. Elf!Jack for Christmas, I think, is the most important. And Serial Rediscovery -- yay!! But nothing says 2007 like mpreg, really. ;-)

I hereby appoint General Jonathan O'Neill to be my executor. And I mean that literally -- Jack, if anyone who tries to take, sell or give away my belongings, shoot 'em in the ass.

PS, I was thinking he might need some kind of trust, or something, though, in order to achieve his estate planning goals, ie provision for his own return from beyone the grave!

Oh, they must all at this point. You never know when you'll get stranded for 3 months -- or more -- out the ass end of the galaxy. They must have interest-bearing accounts, automatic payments, blah, blah...

Oh, I just read one where the author envisioned Daniel's interactions with the accounting department after he missed his memo about the change in his lease while he was offworld. Heh.
