So.

I'm thinking of changing tactics on my OT3 thing. The Stranded OT3 of Doom will probably still happen, but one of the challenge participants said something that made me think I'd rather try for an Earthside OT4 instead.

Anyway, I want Jack to have a nasty little one-nighter.

And I thought, ha! I will base OFC on someone I know!

So I approached this person, with the warning that OFC will not be reflected upon in a good light as the story progresses.

She replied:

But Jack would never think unpleasant
thoughts about me afterwards. He would think back,
once he's happily coupled with Daniel but they're both
missing tits, "I wonder if that [name redacted] gal would be up
for a three-way -- she had an awesome rack." And the
answer, of course, would be hell yes ;-)

*snickers uncontrollably*

When I threatened to post this, she was highly alarmed and made the sign of the cross against Mary Sues, so I have withheld the name of the person to protect the innocent her self-respect and reputation. :)

What, pray tell, is an OFC??

It originally meant Original Fictional Character (meaning from the writer's imagination, not from the fandom canon). But these days original characters are usually OCs, with OFC for Original Female Character and OMC for Original Male Character (since we all like to know whether we're getting into slash or het). Not to be confused with Other, which could be an OC, or could be a minor or character from canon, or a surprise pairing.

Man, that got long...

Pffft! Oh you can totally post the convo, just not in the story! *has only a teeny tiny smidgeon of shame* *and no reputation worth protecting whatsoever*

I knew it was you you she was talking about! At first I thought it was me, because I have a rack and an urge to be nasty with Jack, but I couldn't recall having the conversation.

So, I was going to volunteer if the OFC changed her mind. Then I figured it must be you, and there was no way in hell you would be adverse to the situation no matter the outcome.

So go be nasty and tell Jack, I'm in line, waiting. (Oh, tell [livejournal.com profile] brain_of_ck too.

;)

Yeah, like anyone on my or CK's flist has any illusions about my (im)pure thoughts about J and D. ;-)

But the description CK gave of fthe circumstances -- "Jack will think mean unpleasant things about her after the fact" -- nuh uh. I may not have shame, but I do have my pride! However if you want to colunteer yourself to be OFC...
