Gentle Readers:

I have a confession to make.

You know me as a Rugbytackler, with an unfortunate lust for Mr. Bloom.

Little did you know.

I came to slash through Sam and Frodo. They are probably my ultimate OTP. The only place I actively seek het, too. R/S/F can really get me going.

After that, my tie for favorite "pairing" is EW/BB/DM and SB/VM/OB (perhaps with a side of EW).

I am very hobbit friendly, and am basically a slut for both EW and SB. I'll try anything, if one of them is involved.

EW/OB is my favorite light and fluffy. OMG! If you need recs, let me know.

OB/SB is my fav for uber angst, though it can be overdone.

Urgh. There is so much VM/OB out there, probably two-thirds of it total crap, I think because for some reason it is the favorite pairing of 14-year-old girls, but when done well, it cooks.

My author self seems to be completely OK with polyandry. I really hate to leave anyone out, and I like my angst light, with a happy ending, which means that my stories need very large beds.

Hmmm. Anything else I should confess, while I'm at it?

I have a huge, huge, gigantic yoga kink. But you probably know that already. My personal porno collection includes MTV Power Yoga and
Mr. John Scott's Ashtanga Yoga, which includes instructions for a full Wheel from standing, which we can safely say is my ultimate personal yoga goal.

Why am I confessing all of this to you now?

Because Arena is backstory for something that started out hobbit. Please do not be alarmed. SB/VM is the foundation of this story, as you can tell from the length of the "backstory." Plus, I still am not sure that the hobbit!slash will every be fit for public consumption. So it may never bubble out of my brain's id.

Anyway, I hope you are not too frightened. It will be OK. Really. It will!

With kind regards and best wishes, I remain

Your devoted servant,
CK

OK, chicas! Your thoughts, please.

I took the night and morning off from RL and did some editing on Arena.

However, I am editing faster than I am writing new material.

So my question to you is thus...

Is it more tormenting to know that there is text that you haven't seen? In which case I should really push to open the sections up as fast as possible.

Or is it worse when you are reading a WIP, and you have gotten to the last chapter, and you have no hope of anything more until the stupid writer gets that next part down in electrons? In which case, at this point I would try to write a new piece for every piece I opened.

OK. Looking at this, it may possible be the stupidest thing I ever posted in LJ...
