I think I should resent the fact that you're painting me as a bloodthirsty wench with a blade fetish... ... ...wait, no, that's pretty accurate actually. ;) BUT unless one of them was having some pretty elaborate fantasies, I couldn't write smut for them as they hadn't done that yet! Not for several more chapters, anyway! And besides, this whole chapter was an experiment in battle scenes and I had fun with it. *grins* It's my hope that the battle pulls you in and leaves you breathless and exhilarated at the end...high hopes, perhaps, but that's still my hope. My next challenge to myself, battle wise, is swordplay into foreplay and seeing just how erotic I can make it. Have ideas...oh yes. *ponders* Might have to do some stand-alones. Maybe some slashy sword practice during LotR...hmmm.
