What a beautiful build from an almost incidental, "this is just for convenience" thing to the painful wrench of A Hundred Days/Shades of Grey. I love the way Daniel knew what was happening as it was happening, all along, but like a frog in boiling water, it was too late by the time he was in love. Yay for the happy ending, then!
