This story is intended as a follow-on to the Dark Muse Remix of Some Stones. Originally, it wasn't. But when I started thinking in terms of clichés, and how many I might be able to pack into one poor, innocent story, I felt an opportunity to bring in a telepathy angle was too good to miss.
