1. Blue Moon Awards are open for reading and voting. Hunt and Peck was nominated, and I put it in the romance category, where I see Her Royal Highness, [livejournal.com profile] princessofg has not one put two AMAZING entries, so. *pouts* :p Well, in any case, looks like an awesome place to read.

2. Just beta'd a very juicy J/D ficathon piece. *pets yummy porn and violence*

3. MY ficathon piece has been ready to roll since Friday. It will be choose your own ending. *pets out of control porn*

4. I have tagged and memorized this journal all the way back to the late part of January 2005. Not entirely done yet, but only (journal)days away. Yay! Sadly, there is not completeness. About half way through the project I realized I needed two new categories - cookies and close encounters (about my nuclear family's interaction with my writing). So these two categories only came into full force sometime around May 2006 or so, and apply to everything EARLIER (as I was working backwards). It was SO FUN going through everything, seeing old thoughts and stories that I hadn't really looked at or thought about in ages. I am even inspired to think about Arena again. I wrote a few pages long hand the other day. We'll see. It would be the VM/OB section. I did find it very, very sad to see how many of my rec links were dead, especially the LOTR ones. I need someone to tell me how to track down Abundantlyqueer's new journal. She purged her old one. I'm pretty sure she transferred all her stories to a new one, but I don't know where. I may cruise [livejournal.com profile] sumbitch's friends and see if I don't find it there. Because... Na Goshi! Clue! They can't be lost to my recs! They just CAN'T!!!! And Rynalwyn. I was so sad seeing that her journal was purged, too. I would bug her for copies of Maraon and Rain, but I know when she said she was destroying her journals it was because she "wasn't comfortable" with her stories being "out there." Heck. I don't even know if the stories exist in any form any more.

It is a lesson to me to grab stuff and store it if I really want to be able to read it again. And yet, a lot of things, well, I read them already. So I'm sad I can't read them again. But what I really want to do is be able to point other people to them, and say, here, read this awesome thing. And I would not feel right providing other people's stories if they have taken them out of the public space. Anyway, big frownie face for that. :(
