I have been going around in circles on Serial Rediscovery, trying to decide how I would end it.

If you have not read this story, avert your eyes. It is a perpetual WIP and you don't want to get involved at this point 'til it's finished.

AG33 and I have been brainstorming this one (AG33 knowing only the non-slashy elements of the story, as he is only 9), and he is after me for a smiley happy ending with unicorns and rainbows and flowers and smiley faces. I was considering an ending of DOOM, but I just did that. So. I have considered endings heavily relying on Thor, and rejected them as fairly stoopid. I have thought about endings where Daniel gets and keeps ALL the memories. Where he gets back the old ones and loses the new ones. Where he loses ALL his memories. Where he gets his *entire* brain wiped and remembers nothing - not a single language, not even his name. I've considered endings where he gets his brain ALMOST completely wiped, and only remembers a few key things, and relives them over and over again. I've considered bringing Daniel back to the SGC and sending him back to the podunk college in Texas. Then I had a great new idea this morning, that I may actually do. Or maybe not.

As you can see, Gentle Readers, I have not been just letting this story languish. I revisit it fairly regularly. I feel *extreme* guilt about its continued WIP nature. I just can't figure out what to do about it.

I feel like almost every way I look at it, this story is turning out stupidly (with the possible exception of this morning's idea). As, I should say, I always predicted it would, because I never knew how it would end. And I hate that, because its loyal, mostly patient fans are quite devoted to it and deserve a good ending, not a sucky one.

So. Just to be sure I consider a lot of good ideas before making a final decision...

People who like the story, in 100 words or less, how would you end it? If I use your idea, I'll give you credit and a virtual box of homemade fudge. You will receive the accolades of Serial Rediscovery fans everywhere.
