Adjustments: Children

spyderqueen and whisper99, who wanted to know what happened after Adjustments B.
A word of warning. The idea came to me, so a wrote it as a story, but this is the original draft, written in about 90 minutes, with no re-read and no edit. RL these days doesn't allow for the kind of care I'd prefer to put into every piece, but I figure some fic is better than no fic, so, here's fic!
