as I said, it's a personal idiosyncracy. maybe someone will do a poll about it.... it just seems like it only belongs in badfic to me, and this isn't! hee.
i get this way about words, though. the last word i went off on a rant about is "mathom," from Tolkien. Misuse of that word makes me CRAZY. See, if the world would just rearrange itself to my personal specificiations everything would be FINE! Why won't people realize this and just bend themselves to MY WILL????? HUH?
