Hmm, I've been thinking, I'm not sure there's a comma after "lhe quer" (second line). With the comma, the line means "the love who loves him, his sweetheart." Without the comma, the line means, "the love who wishes him well." I'm afraid Portuguese is one of those languages in which commas make a LOT of difference.
