My thought is that Jack is even more traumatized by this whole sex change thing than Daniel is. Daniel only has to justify himself to himself, after all. Jack feels like he owes something to *real* Daniel, and how does he reconcile that? But no, he's definitly not winning any prizes, is he, for his coping skills.
There is 21 pages of "more" hiding in a private post. :) Like I said this morning, it's the sex scene that won't end! But hopefully I can get it finished up tonight, then proof and post it in the morning. Cross your fingers. It's actually possible.
Baby's due on May 18. My first baby was late. But this is my second, so I'm feeling very much an any-day-now kind of feeling.
I'm so pleased you liked this one. It's been a surprise to me, but a lot of fun. :) You realize we're lined up for five different endings? Right now I'm focused on writing the "happy" ending. With angst. :D
