REC: Silk Worm

Was sewing this morning, which reminded me of porn.

Naturally.

Cause my brain is completely porn soaked...

Anyway, this one was silly. Reminds me of shopping with Mom at Mary Jo's. Sort of. *snortle*

Silk Worm

EDIT: The above is the link to the fic in her journal. But it seems to be protected. So...

Silk Worm, archived at www.rugbytackling.com.

I remember when I first came across the Rugbytackle site. I spent days obsessive...er...throughly, *throughly* reading through it. I read this story then and loved it.

It always puts a smile on my face. Until I start thinking about Viggo tied to a bed with red-orange silk. Yummy.

I can just see Sean, wandering around in confusion, all the ladies scoping him out... :)

"all the ladies scoping him out" = "looking at his butt"

LOL! Still, I've been to these stores many times. I'm sure we'd have been trying to figure out what he was looking at. Cotton prints? Patterns? Which patterns? Notions? Maybe he just needs a button for his shirt? Bridal?! What the Hell!!!! What's SEAN BEAN doing in BRIDAL!!!!! *snickers*

In my city, all the chain fabric stores sell mostly...how shall I put this? Crap, they sell mostly over-priced crap.

If I witnessed scene taking place, I'd be throwing myself on the synthetic silk-esse garbage while yelling "Run before it blows!"

I buy most of my fabric on-line now.

Anyways, back to the thought of Viggo tied to a bed with red-orange silk. Yummy!

There is a place, in Gastonia, North Carolina, that you must visit, if you are ever passing through Charlotte.

Mary Jo's. I always think walking in there must be somthing like walking into a bazaar back in the middle ages. The amazing colors. The variety. More cotton prints than many chain stores have bolts all told. A bridal department to die for. Tapestry fabric for making luggage and covering furniture. And that's just the places I play. Mom buys fabric for all her work clothes (she makes the most beautiful tailored suits). Just so awesome! A real tourist attraction for a craftswoman. :)
