For [personal profile] zats_clear to celebrate her natal day

Gentle Reader:

I asked the lovely [livejournal.com profile] zats_clear if there was anything I could get her for her birthday (she will be 27 this year!). She made three suggestions. So you get fluff, followed by massive character death, followed by fluff!

Because I wrote these three sorta as a set, but I didn't want to put them in the same post, I posted the stories themselves backdated so that you would see this post and read them "in order." Anyway.

Zats, I'm posting a little early because the way my life is going, better to do it now when I know I have time, than wait and not be able to post again til NEXT Wednesday! :D

Happy, happy birthday!

Oh wow! In my family, birthday gifts are always late LOL Thanks for these. Comments are on each individual story. With regard to RPS (real person smut?), I have not read one for Stargate before and the few I have encountered in other fandoms, I could not actually finish reading because I was laughing too hard trying to picture the "real people." Yours...rolls on the floor

My original fandom was LOTR, and the RPS there really works for me because the actors TOTALLY slashed themselves in the press. Quotes in the special features and the press where they said the most sappy, sentimental things about each other. Public antics. And then the closeness of the characters in the films just feeds into it. But yeah. One reason why I *haven't* done Stargate RPS is that I just don't get that vibe off them. Well. To a very small extent you get an MS/CJ vibe. They're "best friends." They're clowns together on the set. But still. Also, I don't know that much about the Stargate cast. *hangs head*

had noted that about LOTR. funny! I don't get that *vibe* off the SG cast either (and still find your story funny as hell) but what I do get is that RDA and MS totally played into the slasher perspective - it apparently amused at least one of them, I suspect RDA, initially.

In The Light, RDA was supposed to give MS mouth-to-mouth to revive him once they got thru the Gate *pauses for a moment to collect my brain off the floor* and MS completely nixed the idea when he read the script.

Have you seen any of the youtube stuff on any of them at conventions? MS/CJ and Lexa in any combination with them is hysterical.
