Wheeeeee! Memories!

I was very pleased with myself that I didn't miss a month. :) And surprised to find a little LOTR_RPS still lingering around.

Yes, possibly even slightly over-represented, but that's not a bad thing. :-) (And funny, I just recced Words and Meanings today!)

That's what impressed me most too, that you actually have something for every month. :P I'm afraid my list would have a few [cough] holes in it.

That's a pretty good goal for '07, though, at least one story per month. And hey, I don't have to finish, right -- it can be a chapter of something. I finished NaNo, I can do anything!!! [megomaniacal boinging!]

And I'm very glad you're still doing LOTRiPS, even if it's not very often. :D

Congrats on finishing NaNo! And I counted posted chapters, though I didn't count my "what I am thinking about right now"s.

You could make a point of posting a drabble or ficlet every 30th...

Congrats on finishing NaNo!

Thanks! I didn't go into it really expecting to hit 50K by the end of the month, so I was ecstatic when it happened. :D

Something shortish, anyway. [nod] I don't do drabbles -- short-short fiction is incredibly difficult to do well and that's really not where my literary strengths lie. I think my shortest piece so far was "Soap," and that one mostly worked because of the funny. :) That was... [runs and counts] 263 words. "The Next Morning" was 404 and then I think it jumps up to "Heat" at 900. Everything else has been longer. I have to specifically get a story idea that's workable at <1000, you know? It's hard to squash a plot down into that tiny a box and still have the story be enjoyable. [laugh/flail] I've never been able to say, "Hey, I think I'll write something really incredibly short tonight." :P

But with a whole month I should be able to do a short story, right? Yeah, that should work. [ponder]
