Q/Bond

Quick tip on reading this pairing - let someone else read it first and rec it for you. Dude.

Meanwhile, a pairing that [personal profile] green_grrl has not cataloged. I'm frightened. *cowers behind AO3*

Tease.

I suggest sorting by number of kudos.

I haven't seen Skyfall yet, so I've been staying out of it so far. Bluemeridian has been reccing them, though, which is where I'll start after I see the movie.

I've been reading all things Derek/Stiles in Teen Wolf, and my trick in AO3 is to sort by number of kudos. Once I've read the best of the best, back to sorting by newest posting, and again skimming for the ones with high kudos. I still hit the occasional, "Gah! How did so many people kudo THAT!" But for the most part, crowdsourcing the good reads works.

Yeah, I was reading Cap and Tony long before the movies, so I was pre-sold and already invested. The Avengers movie was very "pre-slash foundation" for me. I'll see what I think about Bond/Q when I see the movie. I suspect I'll think, "They are both very cute, and bantery soldiers/geeks are such a lovely pairing," but not, "Oh my god, they are so obviously doing it!"
