A few things
1. Click here for the word puzzle. You are supposed to look at the grid, and the first three words describe your fan writer personalty.
My words, in the order I found them: Pervert. My. Lint.
2. Having a bit of fandom shock. That little pirate piece, as of this moment, has 286-ish hits on AO3. Since I posted it at approx 3pm. I din't even announce it anywhere, I assume it is just showing up in people's AO3 Avengers feeds. Meanwhile, my wonderful, sweet, The Ghost and Dr. Jackson, has a grand total of 305 hits. This is merely an observation. I don't think it is likely to have much overall impact on my writing behavior. The pirate thing really was just a dare. I have my eye on NaNoWriMo this year for my Wolf's Tooth thing. I'm hoping my bit of writing this morning will put me back in the mood to do more of the pre-writing work for the original piece. Would like to be ready to just churn out plot in November. Oh! I wrote an elegiac couplet for Bjorn to recite to Lena! I was very pleased with myself. Then I wrote pirate pick up lines.

And yes, the popular-at-the-moment fandoms have people hitting their AO3 tags like rats at the food lever. (She says as she goes to reload for new Derek/Stiles stories ...) Besides, who can resist pirates plus Cap?!!!
