So, my massive, 20k story (give or take a couple of k), is totally based around MY INCORRECT MEMORY OF THE ATLANTIS TIMELINE.

Well, the whole thing is a massive AU. I'll include a note about it at the beginning and you can all suck it up and enjoy the story.

From where I'm standing (avid fic reader but, of the actual show, have watched only up to season 3 of SG-1, plus random later episodes, and only up to season 2 of Atlantis - I want to watch them all but can't afford them yet!) what you and others write is the real thing, the core thing, anyway. However, it is almost exactly 20k, and I'm scared you have now read it TWICE already (cause I got the impression you read it the other day instead of just looking at the pictures! (Oh, that reminds me, I still need some pictures of giant clams.)) If that's a problem in any way, let me know. I might still really like to get your specific thoughts about the floating in the water parts, but I can handle the big edit myself, or inflict it on someone else.

Absolutely send it over whenever. And, yes, I read it again, and no, I don't object to reading it a third time. Am already utterly charmed, after all, so no worries there. :) Will keep a tender but incisive eye on the floating parts for sure.
