Not getting out of here that easily

So, I was editing on the hydropunk piece today. I was hoping to possibly finish it today during my day off, or barring that, at least have it done by the weekend. But reading back over it, there are a lot of places I want to fill in with more detail, better dialog. It needs more show, less tell. Just during the edit of the first 11 pages, I decided there needed to be about 1000 words of new material added that I hadn't realized was missing.

I think this piece is nowhere near as finished as I had hoped.

Ah, well. No deadline, no need to rush. I am very fond of this story and want it to be a good one. So. Invest the time to really craft it. lokei, if you happen by, I may still have the first 5000 words or so ready for you by the end of the weekend.
