I understand the 'but it isn't how I wanted it!' wailing voice that just won't be quiet...but really, it has no grounds for sticking around. This is a really fun, well developed sequence of scenes--I love the way their growing comfort level just seeps through the story like rising groundwater, until Daniel realizes the basement's flooded and his house is about to float away. :) And really, you can't have the early-seasons stuff without the Shau'ri complications, so I think it really fits in just fine.
