*thinks deep thoughts* If I had been Jack, I would have started to think Daniel didn't want me, since he seemed comfortable enough with Sam and Teal'c. I would have started to think that I had been wrong, that it wasn't that Daniel hadn't recognized the UST between us, but that I had projected my own feelings on to him.

But, I'm not Jack. :-) Who never once thinks that, and who never stops trying to persuade Daniel to get with the program, for cryin' out loud!
